💼 Experience

Dr. Hasan Shahriar Kallol is a highly skilled cancer surgeon with expertise in surgical oncology, gastrointestinal surgery, colorectal surgery, breast surgery,  laparoscopic and robotic procedures. He has extensive experience in treating soft tissue sarcomas, skin cancers (including melanoma), and complex abdominal cancers.

He graduated from Dhaka Medical College in 2003 and completed FCPS in Surgery in 2015. He later obtained an MS in Surgical Oncology in 2023. Dr Kallol further strengthened his credentials by achieving MRCPS from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow, UK, in 2019, and Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) in 2024.

He completed a Clinical Fellowship in Surgical Oncology at the National Cancer Center Singapore (NCCS), where he trained in stomach, colorectal, and pelvic cancer surgeries, skin cancer treatment, and oncoplastic breast surgery. Additionally, he pursued advanced colorectal surgery training at Changi General Hospital, Singapore, and breast cancer surgery training at Whipps Cross University Hospital, London, UK. He competed clinical observership in surgical oncology from MD Anderson Cancer Centre, Houston, Texas, USA and Orlando Cancer Institute, Florida, USA.

Dr Kallol is the first surgeon in Bangladesh to receive hands-on training in Cytoreductive Surgery (CRS) and HIPEC for advanced abdominal cancers. He has also attended specialised courses on sarcoma treatment and peritoneal surface malignancies in Singapore.

He has presented his work at international conferences, focusing on breast surgery, colorectal cancer, and advanced cancer treatments. Recognising his contributions, SingHealth awarded him the Surgery ACP – Global Surgery Programme sponsorship in 2022, and he received the LMI Bursary from the Association of Breast Surgery, UK, in 2023. He also achieved Planetary Health Academia fellowship for Surgical Oncology in 2025.

Dr Kallol is also actively involved in medical research, having led national and multinational studies. His work has been published in leading international journals, including BMJ and the European Journal of Surgical Oncology.

He is committed to providing the highest standard of cancer care, combining expertise, advanced technology, and compassionate patient care. He regularly consults patients at Labaid Cancer Hospital & Super Speciality Centre.
